England (Greenwood/Coyne) beat Brazil (Santos/Manezes) in an exhilarating three set final that kept spectators on the edge of their deckchairs at Yellowave in Brighton.

Brighton Beach Fest - Day 2

Brighton based beach volleyball players dominated the national Nivea Sun Yellowave Beach Fest competition on Saturday and Sunday. Sunday held the competition for mixed 4s. The team of Katie Mintram, Soo-bee Appleton, Neil Pavey and Alejo Desprats won in a close 21-18 final.

VEBT Volleyball Finals - Adults

The NIVEA SUN VEBT National Beach Volleyball Finals were a huge hit with the Brighton crowd. GB squad teams Lucy Boulton / Denise Johns and Jody Gooding / Steve Grotowski took 1st place.

Brighton hosted the NIVEA SUN VEBT Junior Beach Volleyball Championships on Fri 31st Aug. Kids aged from 11-18 travelled from as far as Newcastle to fight it out on the sand for the national title.
